Nature at it’s finest!
Wednesday, March 19th, 2008Today’s featured art gallery is NaturalImages by David Haenn.
An amazing photo of a spotted fawn and images from nature make this a gallery worth looking at.
It’s not often a photographer gets the chance to capture a wild animal like a baby deer. Unless you almost step on them, they are very hard to see when they’re curled up and laying still. Kudos for getting a wonderful photograph!

People have asked how I captured this image. I reply that this enchanting creature captured me.
She was nestled in the grass at the Forest's edge. Kneeling down, I asked,
"Do you think that blade of grass conceals you?"
She did not even blink.
I watched a long while,
became as still as the Forest.
Then she spoke in my mind:
"I am Fawn, being Still, minding my Mama."
The exquisite detail of this lovely creature presented in black & white.
Awakening redbud leaves adorned with a dewdrop. Redbud blooms add a soft, springtime backdrop.
A misty lane winding through the forest. I wonder what lies
just around the bend?
Lost Valley is one of my favorite places in the Buffalo National River park. A steep trail wanders along the stream to a waterfall at the head of the narrow valley. I found this colorful scene along the trail one autumn, and interpreted the image to emphasize the riotous colors.
An old outhouse with natural landscaping. Soft morning light adds a mystical quality to the commonplace.
