An older John Deere tractor sits in a field of colorful tulips.
I can almost hear the pop, pop… pop, pop of the tractor as it drives through the field. Those old 2 cylinder John Deeres have a very distinctive sound, and were sometimes called ‘Johnny Poppers.’
In fact… A 2 cylinder John Deere is the first tractor I drove and learned how to drive on. My dad’s model B. So I have very fond memories of John Deere tractors. This photo brings them back for me, not that I ever had a field of flowers to drive through.
What a nice picture this is for folks that enjoy pretty flowers and farm scenes.
