Queen Cat by Kent Lorentzen

Today’s featured art is Queen Cat by Kent Lorentzen

This cat is a Queen with her Regal posture! This is a photo I took of one of the farm cats. She was posing so nicely, I couldn’t resist taking her picture.

She always wanted to come in the house and eat from the dogs dish even when there was food outside for her… Of course the dog would want to eat the outside food. Isn’t turnabout fair play.

Prices for prints of Queen Cat begin at $33.96, subject to change.

Desert Wheels by Jose Rodriguez

Today’s featured art is Desert Wheels by Jose Rodriguez

Two street rods race down a highway in desert country in this artwork. The artist has captured the work and detailing car buffs put into their automobiles.

One hot rod has a red paint job with yellow flames blowing back from the front… A sure indication of how fast that rod can go. The other hot rod has dark blue paint and a red grill. Both rods have the cropped tops and low windows. What a dream for many folks to own hot rods like these.

The desert colors in the background with the reds and browns and mesa bluffs really add the the image. What a great framed print this would be for a car buff.

Prices for prints of Desert Wheels begin at $21.23, subject to change.

School Boy Writer’s Block by Leslie Nazarian: Lesruba Designs

Today’s featured art is School Boy Writer’s Block by Leslie Nazarian: Lesruba Designs

A cute illustration of a school boy sitting at his desk, trying to think of what to write. Writing papers in school is so… Hard!

The red shirt, glasses, pencils, sheet of paper, and the boy’s expression make a fun illustration that captures the school days. I remember sitting just about like that, while trying to come up with something to write for the assignment. It was so easy to start day dreaming instead of concentrating on what to write.

Today’s featured art is ’59 Chevy by Julie R. Neidlinger

This 59 Chevy looks like it’s ready to fly down the road. This is a great painting that captures the spirit of cars like this. You can almost see it moving with it’s flowing lines and big red taillights.

Some of us remember when these big old cars were new and it was the coolest thing to have one of these cars with the racy fenders. Ah! The good old days!

What a nice nostalgic print this is for car buffs, or anyone that fondly remembers the Classic cars of the late 50’s and early 60’s.

Prices for prints of ’59 Chevy begin at $16.98, subject to change.
