Today’s featured art is EarthHeart by JaNell Golden

This is art with a message we all need to remember… Love Your Mother! Referring to Mother Earth. The heart shaped planet Earth and Love Your Mother message are a good reminder that we need to take care or our world and the planet we live on. Let’s all practice a little love for our Mother this year.

Today’s featured art is Flower Garden by Julie R. Neidlinger

I like this floral art with it’s bright happy flower blossoms and green plant stems.

These painted flowers look really nice as a framed giclee print. There are so many framing options that there’s sure to be one that will please anyone that loves nice floral art. I chose this frame and mat combination, to show you, because I think it makes the artwork stand out. Many of the other combinations may please different tastes. Oh! What fun it is trying out different looks!

Today’s featured art is Charlie by Rob Diffenderfer

Oh! What a great photo of a duck floating in the water! The orange bill, black and white feathers, and ripples in the water really create a beautiful scene.

Water fowl like ducks and geese can really be fun to watch as they paddle around a pond or lake. It’s entertaining to see their dives down and them bobbing back up.

Loxly Gallery Giclee Print Review

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

I received a package from Loxly Gallery today with a 13 x 17 inch giclee print. It arrived by Priority Mail in nice sturdy cardboard.

I found the giclee print inside stunning. It’s a fantasy / science fiction work by Elizabeth Edwards.

My photograph really doesn’t do it justice. The detail and colors, of the planet and swirling nebula are amazing. Great artwork and a great print.

This close up clipping from the photo shows some of the detail. The detail shows much better when seeing it in person.

You can compare these photos to how the art is show on Loxly Gallery…

And… For a bit of perspective on the print’s size… A photo with a model artfully directing your attention to the print, seemed appropriate. Not having a lovely professional model handy… I pretended to show off the print like a good looking model would. :P

Now I need to find a frame and get the print in it, in order to show it off!

To sum things up… A Thumbs Up, for both Loxly Gallery and artist Elizabeth Edwards! :D

Today’s featured art is Pretty Dahlia by Kent Lorentzen

This pretty purple Dahlia with dew drops on it makes a great photograph. This flower plant with the dew damp blossoms was for sale at a farmers market in the early morning.

This is one of my favorite photos and it makes a beautiful framed print.

Prices for prints of Pretty Dahlia begin at $33.96, subject to change.

Today’s featured art is Monarch Butterfly by Derek McCrea

This is a nice watercolor artwork of a Monarch Butterfly. Butterflies are such beautiful creatures and good subjects for art like this. Wouldn’t a print of this art be nice to get framed and have on a wall?
