This is a nice black and white, pen and ink drawing of an old farm building that the artist says was a chicken coop when she was a girl.

Living in a rural area with old farmsteads, I’ve seen many a scene much like this. The artist has captured the farm country feeling very well in this artwork.

Today’s featured art is Autumn Quilt by Kristen N. Fox: Art of Fox Vox

I love the bright colors and patterns on this quilt style artwork. The leaves, squares, and quilt blocks come together nicely. I can easily imagine a quilting party or bee with ladies gathered around busily cutting and sewing a beautiful quilt like this.

A print on watercolor paper would be a nice addition to the crafty person’s home decor.
