Colorful Corn

Today’s featured art is Indian Corn – 08/2005 by Daniel Bresien

Two ears of decorative corn on a wood grained background add fall color in this artwork. It looks just like the cobs of corn are hanging on an old wooden door.

Seeing multicolored corn brings to mind all the beautiful autumn colors and how thankful we are for a bountiful harvest.

Pretty Peppers

Today’s featured art is Pretty Peppers 848 by Kent Lorentzen

This basket of pretty colorful peppers was on display at the farmers market where I sell my garden goodies. The bright red peppers, yellow peppers, and green peppers in the wicker basket looked very attractive on the vendors table.

It was fun taking photos at the market this summer with all the colorful produce displays with fruits and veggies. The fall ornamentals, such as the gourds, corn stalks, and pumpkins were very attractive as the season ended. I’ll feature some of those photographs in the future.
