Here’s a great Holiday Season photo from an online friend:

These red Holly berries covered with frost bring to mind all the Joy and fun things of the Holiday Season. Rebecca has done a nice job of capturing a pretty sight in her photograph. It’s available for purchase as greeting cards or a giclee print on canvas or paper.

Snow, frost, and ice can make interesting winter photos. I enjoy going for morning walks along the Mississippi river and around the farm while trying to get some good pictures myself.

Both the dog and I had a good walk this morning along the snow covered Mississippi river. The Sunrise was in a cloudy sky over the farm across the river. What a nice sight to see on a morning walk.

This Winter has had so many gray gloomy days that any day where you can see the Sun at all is a good one. Some partly cloudy days (like this) seem to be best for getting a good photo.

It’s a lot of fun going for a morning walk and trying to get a good picture of something every time. I don’t always succeed, but try anyway.

A lighthouse stands behind the keepers house in this lovely holiday artwork. There’s a wreath on the lighthouse keepers home and evergreen trees sitting in the snow. A beautiful orange and blue sky complete this Christmas scene. A peaceful pleasant winter scene perfect for the Holiday season.

I can easily imagine skiing or snowshoeing and seeing this. It would be sure to bring a smile of appreciation.
